Connections Personnel is hiring for a temp-hire Administrative Assistant for our client located in Scotch Plains. Looking for a motivated individual to join a fast growing and friendly company that specializes in Line Striping and Signage.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable: Organize job tickets, job costing and entering bills into QuickBooks.
• Estimating: Order, scan & copy plans and specs; prepare bid spreadsheets and bid packages; gather subcontractor/supplier quotes
• Project Management Assistance/EEO Compliance: Order material as directed; respond to requests of project owner officials and subcontractors/suppliers as requested by project managers; and prepare and organize monthly EEO reports.
• General Office Assistance: Order supplies; sort mail; run errands; general correspondence, reception, and other admin functions as needed
• Contribute positively to the customer service experience for project owners, vendors, and subcontractors

Requirements:

Prior experience working in a construction office. Filing, Phone, Accounts Receivable / Payable, payroll

Preparing Bid Documents, AA/EEO Compliance, Prevailing Wage reporting

Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Quickbooks,

Dependable, organized, support-minded individual with attention to detail, team player attitude, able to meet deadlines and can multi-task.

Bilingual helpful (Spanish)

Salary $23.00-$25.00 a hour

Full Time Position 9-5, M-F
