Job Description

Brown & Brown is Seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Fenton, MI .

SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing continuous service to all commercial lines new and existing clients and assisting the producer in retention of business. Through servicing, develop a thorough knowledge of the accounts, becoming liaison between the insured, the producer, or other departments within the agency and the carriers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Serve as main contact for all accounts assigned
  • Maintain and service all renewal policies
  • Assist insureds with their service needs not limited to policy quotations, application completion, policy changes and questions, billing and claims questions
  • Identify accounts for possible remarketing to help retain accounts
  • Ensure all quotes are accurate prior to being proposed
  • Responsible for documentation control (scanned, paper, electronic, verbal, etc)
  • Knowledge of Quality Control Compliance standards for department

REQUIRED:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain with 1-3 months
  • 1-2 years experience in similar position

Compensation Range: $45-$60k based on experience.
