Location - Apex,NC

Job Type - Full-Time

Schedule - 8hrs Monday to Friday

Pay $80,000 - $85,000

Experience Level - 5 yrs Superintendent -and/or 5yrs Project Management

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and project oversight, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards. This role requires excellent leadership abilities and effective communication skills to coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Duties

  • The Project Manager is involved all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and team members to ensure schedules and budgets are met.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and distributing project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Monitoring project progress and communicating updates to clients.
  • Managing project schedules and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Maintaining compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
  • Lead and manage all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Utilize construction management software such as Building Connected and Procore for project tracking and documentation.
  • Review schematics and blueprints to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure safety compliance.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Provide leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative environment.

Skills

  • Proficiency in construction management software. Including Sage and Procore.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Experience with construction estimating techniques and tools.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
