Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Superintendent to oversee the construction of a high-end restaurant project in Los Angeles, CA. This individual will be responsible for managing all day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in new restaurant builds, particularly in mall or joint-use spaces, with a background in luxury or high-end restaurant construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• The role involves leading and managing the entire construction process, ensuring that all activities align with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Key responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, enforcing compliance with safety regulations and building codes, overseeing site logistics, and managing project budgets and schedules.
• The position also includes quality control inspections to ensure luxury standards, serving as the primary client liaison, and collaborating with design and engineering teams to ensure design intent is executed seamlessly while maintaining high-end brand standards.

Required Qualifications:

• The role requires extensive experience in managing restaurant construction, particularly in high-traffic or shared spaces, and expertise in high-end or luxury restaurants with upscale finishes.
• Experience managing large-scale projects with a $100M general contracting firm is essential.
• A strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations, particularly in Los Angeles, is necessary for ensuring compliance.
• The position demands strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and resolve issues efficiently to keep the project on track.
