Job Description

We are seeking a motivated intern to join the Marketing department. In this role, you will support the Marketing Department by assisting with the creation and management of a variety of marketing materials and digital assets. The duration of this internship is flexible, ranging from 3 to 5 months, and can be negotiated based on availability and needs. 

Your focus will be on production and post-production on photo, video and audio projects as well as keeping our social media channels up-to-date. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about marketing, design, and media production who wants to grow and develop their skills within a fast-paced environment. The primary responsibilities focus heavily on media production.

Responsibilities:

• Product Photography: Capture high-quality images of our products for marketing materials, website, and social media
• Video and Audio Production: Assistance in production and post production for all video and audio projects
• Content Creation: Assist in writing and designing newsletters, social media posts, and promotional content.
• Scheduling & Coordination: Help organize marketing campaigns, social media calendars, and internal schedules.
• Logistics Support: Pick up and transport marketing materials, product samples, and office supplies per project requirements.

Qualifications:

• Actively pursuing or recent graduate with a degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• A design portfolio (website/pdf) must be submitted with the application.
• Availability on Wednesday mornings to attend weekly marketing meetings is required.
• Ability to work 20-25 hours per week in-office, Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Camera (photo/video) and audio skills with familiarity in using design platforms including the Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of meeting deadlines.
• Reliable transportation to work and/or for travel for business-related tasks as required.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to initiating and completing tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to apply university-learned skills to real-world projects.
• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools like Hootsuite or Buffer is a plus.
