About the Role
We're on the lookout for a skilled Content Writer to join our remote team and play a key role in shaping our brand's voice. This role focuses on creating engaging and insightful blog content tailored for non-profit organizations, empowering them to thrive in online fundraising.
As a Content Writer, you'll craft high-quality, strategic blog posts that educate non-profits about industry trends, online giving, and the value of our platform. Your work will help establish us as a thought leader while directly supporting our marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
Write and edit original, well-researched blog posts that resonate with non-profits and their fundraising goals.
Dive deep into data to create impactful research and benchmarks for non-profit organizations.
Conduct thorough research on non-profit fundraising, online donation trends, and related topics.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with broader campaigns and product launches.
Optimize blog content for SEO to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.
Create and maintain a consistent publishing schedule while meeting deadlines.
Identify and explore content themes that address the challenges and opportunities faced by non-profits.
Monitor industry trends, best practices, and competitors to ensure content remains innovative and relevant.
Report on blog performance, identifying wins and areas for optimization.
What We're Looking For
Experience: 5+ years as a content writer, ideally with a focus on enterprise non-profits or B2B SaaS platforms.
Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with the non-profit sector, including fundraising challenges and online donation trends.
Writing Excellence: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a knack for crafting compelling and actionable content.
SEO Expertise: Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
Research Skills: Ability to distill complex information into accessible, impactful content for non-profit audiences.
Marketing Savvy: Understanding of marketing automation, email campaigns, or social media strategies for non-profits.
Creativity & Initiative: Talent for identifying new content opportunities and addressing pain points for non-profits.
