**Data Analyst - Remote (Must Live in the United States)**

**Position Summary**
As a Data Analyst, you will work across Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and BI Engineering tasks, exercising excellent problem-solving, data wrangling, and analytical storytelling skills. You will be responsible for transforming data from our services and existing reports into consumable data dashboards. You will play a crucial role in enabling data democratization within our organization and with our customers, owning the implementation, improvement, and maintenance of our data products. This includes partnering with business teams to provide guidance and assistance in creating and streamlining reports and underlying ETL pipelines. You will collaborate across the organization with business, market, customer, and consumer-focused leadership and team members. **Responsibilities**
- Develop and present analyses, actionable insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders, including senior executives and customers.
- Explore data to find actionable insights through funnel analysis, user segmentation, and cohort analysis.
- Conduct A/B tests to help development teams optimize and enhance our products and assist customers in making business decisions.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to support various data needs for internal or external consumption.
- Identify and implement new capabilities and best practices to develop and improve self-service and automated data analysis processes.
- Develop and update clear, high-performing dashboards for business stakeholders such as Marketing, Product, Finance, Engineering, Sales, Account, and Support/Operations.
- Create new complex dimensions and measures for analysts to meet their business needs.
- Help create and maintain coding standards and perform code reviews for other BI developers or technical analysts.
- Update production dashboards to ensure consistent and accurate data as underlying data warehouse changes.
- Promote and ensure the use of a common semantic layer, data definitions, and metric calculations across all business areas.
- Maintain our data infrastructure, write SQL, build derived tables, and work with data engineering to ensure queries are performant and consume cloud computing resources efficiently.
- Ensure project structure is optimized to handle internal and external multi-tenant access and re-architect as needed for growing business use cases.
- Optimize performance through re-architecting as needed and maintain existing data pipelines.
- Develop LookML in Looker and troubleshoot Jenkins orchestration jobs.
- Modify SQL and Python code for ELT processes to load data into Redshift.
- Perform other duties as needed or directed.
**About You**
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative area such as Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent SQL skills.
- 1-2 years of experience with AWS or Google cloud technologies (Redshift or BigQuery).
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to effectively use business tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Looker.

**Pay and Benefits (USA)**
- Expected base salary ranges from $85,000 to $100,000.
- Equity: All employees within the U.S. are eligible to participate in the Stock Option Plan.
