Job Title: Documentation Specialist - Diagnostic Product Line

Pay Rate: Starting at 40k/year

Duration: 11+ Month W2 Contract (C2C not available)

Location: Fully Onsite in Abbott Park, IL

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Documentation Specialist to support documentation activities for our diagnostic product line. This is a fully onsite role focused on updating and managing various documents within our systems—no laboratory work is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work within multiple systems and software tools to update documentation related to diagnostic products.
• Review documentation plans and execute necessary changes across various document types.
• Interpret and apply operating procedures to ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
• Manage multiple product assignments, tracking activities and meeting deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding challenges or issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field (other degrees may be considered based on experience).

Top 3 Required Skills:

1. Document Change Control Experience – Familiarity with formalized documentation processes.
2. Technical Proficiency – Ability to navigate multiple company-specific systems; proficiency in Microsoft Word (formatting, troubleshooting), Adobe Acrobat, etc.
3. Project Management – Ability to track multiple product assignments and meet deadlines independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior industry experience involving documentation updates.
• Experience reading and interpreting operating procedures.
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new systems efficiently.
