Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Event Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in event planning and management. As an Entry Level Event Specialist, you will play a key role in helping to organize various events, ranging from corporate gatherings and conferences to social events and community outreach programs. You will work closely with experienced event planners and support the planning and execution of events from start to finish. 


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events including logistics, catering, and vendor management.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event.
  • Help create event timelines and schedules to ensure a smooth execution before, during, and after events.
  • Conduct on-site support during events, ensuring all elements run according to plan and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Maintain event budgets and assist with expense tracking and vendor payments.
  • Develop marketing materials and promote events through online platforms and social media.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with clients professionally.

Salary

$800 - $1250 / week
