Family Law Attorney (Hybrid in San Francisco Bay Area)

Responsibilities:

• Complete strategy meetings with clients at the inception of representation by the firm;
• Advise clients on their legal options in determining the course of litigation and/or settlement;
• Review and respond to correspondence from clients and opposing counsel;
• Prepare trial briefs for clients.
• Represent clients in litigation at various hearings;
• Sit first chair in Trials, as needed;

Requirements:

• Licensed by the California State Bar;
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in family law is required;
• Extensive experience in high-net-worth divorce;
• Courtroom experience, completed trial advocacy class/programs, and/or participated in trial competitions;
• legal research and writing skills;
• Attention to details;
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations;
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills;

The Zhou Law Group is seeking experienced, detail-oriented, and motivated senior attorneys in family law to join our team. The Zhou Law Group is one of the largest family law firms with top-rated divorce lawyers and an accomplished support team in San Jose and Los Angeles. The Zhou Law Group provides legal services on family issues relating to divorce, same-sex divorce, child custody, child support, spousal alimony, property division, domestic violence, and prenuptial & postnuptial agreements.

As an expanding California-based firm specializing in family law, our team comprises Certified Family Law Specialists, experienced attorneys and support staff, each with a minimum of five years in the practice of California family law. Since we have several remote and hybrid employees, our in-office administrative staff is imperative to the efficient operations of the firm.
