Our client is a high-precision tool shop specializing in CNC Wire EDM, CNC Sinker EDM, CNC Milling, CNC Lathe, and Grinding. Our expertise supports the semiconductor and medical industries, where precision and quality are paramount. We are seeking a skilled Precision Machinist to join our team and contribute to the production of complex, high-tolerance components.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and program CNC machines, including Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, Milling, and Lathe equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications to produce precise components.
• Utilize grinding techniques to achieve high-precision finishes and tight tolerances.
• Set up, adjust, and maintain machining equipment for optimal performance.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.) to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machining processes and equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years of experience in precision machining, preferably in the semiconductor or medical industry.
• Proficiency with CNC Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, Milling, and Lathe operations.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measurement techniques.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar) is a plus.
• Ability to work with tight tolerances (±0.0002” or better).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
