New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer
$70-120k/year DOE
Role is on-site in Camarillo, CA.
THE ROLE: The New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer will be responsible for gathering the necessary information to submit proposals to end customers. Additionally, the NPI Engineer will be responsible for the transition of new products engineering to manufacturing and supply chain. This position will work closely with the Sales, Production and Quality departments to define manufacturing requirements within the new product development process.
Required skills:
• Able to interpret drawings including knowledge of GD&T
• 3D modeling using SolidWorks is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and effectively with others
• Excellent communication skills
Preferred skills
• Be familiar with ISO9001 /AS 9100 certified Quality Management System.
• Understanding of basic casting and machining principles
• BSME with excellent mechanical skills
• Knowledge of CMM use and programming
