Job Description

Phlebotomy Openings in NY

Bronx and Brooklyn, NY !

We are actively seeking a skilled Phlebotomist with at least 2 years of recent experience. The successful candidate will be adept in using straight needles, particularly with pediatric patients. Strong communication, reliability, and punctuality are crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
  • Centrifuge and store specimens following established protocols.
  • Maintain and decontaminate patient information.
  • Clearly explain venipuncture procedures to patients.
  • Match laboratory requisition forms with specimen tubes for accuracy.
  • Prepare specimens for transport while ensuring integrity and proper labeling.


Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience.
  • Proficient in straight and butterfly needles for pediatric patients.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic.


Additional Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


Work Environment

  • Location: Bronx site ( also open, Full time)
  • Location: Brooklyn, NY ( Williamsburg, NY / part time)
  • Part time: morning hours
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday, typically 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
