Job Description

Job Title: Power BI Developer

Location: Irving, TX (Remote)

Experience: Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience

As a Power BI Developer, you will join an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while following the best coding development standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver customized analyses by leveraging internal and external raw and published data, as well as structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Incorporate competitive factors and client differentiators into analysis and synthesize actionable insights.
  • Utilize advanced data visualization tools to create compelling visual stories.
  • Manage advanced data management tools for complex analysis and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Plan and implement data strategies and oversee medium to large-scale projects.
  • Research and integrate best practices for identifying data sources and analyzing information.
  • Establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations effectively.
  • Influence stakeholder decisions by advising and counseling based on data-driven insights.
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and understand business processes.
  • Develop and maintain data sets while coordinating with others on dependencies.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
  • Technical certifications in multiple technologies are highly desirable.

Skills:

Mandatory Skills:

  • Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, Azure Delta Lake, Databricks, R, and Python.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and SQL.
  • Strong analytical, database, and spreadsheet skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high productivity with accuracy.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Clinical Database (CDB), Operational Database (ODB), or Procedural Analytics (PA).
  • Proficiency with SAS, R, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
