Position: Full-Time Private Chef

Location: Bronxville, NY (with occasional summer travel to Nantucket)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (flexible depending on needs)

The ideal candidate will be passionate about clean, organic cooking and committed to creating fresh, flavorful, and nutritionally balanced dishes. The family enjoys a wide variety of cuisine, with a focus on wholesome, natural ingredients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily lunch and dinner for the family, including any necessary meal prep.
• Plan and cook clean, organic meals, accommodating dietary preferences, restrictions, and food allergies.
• Create diverse and seasonal menus featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
• Organize kitchen inventory, order groceries, and ensure the kitchen is stocked with high-quality organic ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring food safety standards are met.
• Provide occasional travel services to Nantucket during the summer months to cook for the family while away.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a private chef.
• Knowledge of clean, organic cooking, and the ability to prepare healthy, balanced meals.
• Strong ability to plan menus and grocery lists based on seasonal and organic ingredients.
• Experience with dietary restrictions (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, maintain a high standard of cleanliness, and communicate effectively with the family.
• Flexibility for occasional travel to Nantucket (summer months).
• Valid driver’s license and transportation.
