Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Director for a six-month contract (maternity leave coverage) with a fast-growing, late-stage, global cybersecurity company based in Boston. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with C-level leadership while leading a finance team across the US and EU.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of six finance professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Serve as the primary finance liaison for the Executive team, delivering timely financial insights and strategic recommendations.
• Drive the transition to new business metrics, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and analysis.
• Manage the mid-year reforecasting process, incorporating business updates and providing comprehensive variance analysis.
• Oversee the annual audit process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and facilitating a seamless audit experience.
• Maintain and optimize financial systems, including NetSuite and FP&A tools like Pigment.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures as needed.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to provide financial guidance and decision support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• Extensive experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within the cybersecurity industry.
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and FP&A tools like Pigment, Anaplan, or Adaptive Insights.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
