Position Overview

The Social Media Manager will take ownership of Cymbiotika’s social media presence, with a focus on strategy development, content planning, and data-driven decision-making. This role will ensure our social media efforts support broader marketing objectives, elevate our brand, and foster meaningful connections with our community.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Cymbiotika’s overall marketing goals, product launches, and brand vision.
  • Define measurable goals for each platform, including growth, engagement, brand awareness, and conversion targets.
  • Conduct in-depth audience analysis to identify target demographics, behaviors, and preferences, ensuring all content resonates with key audiences.
  • Identify platform-specific opportunities and create tailored approaches for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and any new applications that arise.
  • Plan and execute campaign-based initiatives for major launches, seasonal promotions, and brand partnerships.
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to integrate social media into broader marketing strategies, including paid media, influencer campaigns, and email marketing.
  • Research algorithm changes, emerging platforms, and create trends and series within the company that will position Cymbiotika as a leader in wellness in the social media space.
  • Use the brand story to create impactful content that represents the brands longevity & growth.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, identifying gaps and opportunities to differentiate Cymbiotika’s social media strategy.
  • Build and manage an annual content roadmap to ensure proactive planning and alignment with key business objectives.
  • Manage a monthly budget alongside the Influencer Manager to create evergreen content that is on brand for Cymbiotika’s social channels.

Content Creation & Management

  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, visually compelling, and engaging content (posts, stories, reels, videos) that aligns with Cymbiotika’s brand identity.
  • Partner with the creative team to ensure all assets are optimized for each platform and audience.
  • Create UGC content from within our studio, or outside of the office, that adds value to Cymbiotika’s social platforms.
  • Develop a cohesive content calendar with a mix of evergreen, educational, and promotional posts to maintain a consistent presence.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Regularly analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, ROI) to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategy, optimize content, and improve audience targeting.
  • Create and present detailed performance reports, highlighting successes, opportunities, and make actionable recommendations to leadership.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and guide junior team members or freelancers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Work closely with the paid media & influencer team to align organic and paid efforts for maximum impact.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in social media strategy and management, preferably in the health, wellness, or e-commerce space.
  • Proven track record of driving social media growth, engagement, and conversions.
  • Expertise in platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Manaychat and LinkedIn.
  • Strong knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Later) and the ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
  • Remarkable organization & planning skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to use autonomy to drive projects & daily tasks.
  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, as well as decision-making & time management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
  • Familiarity with creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Capcut or other video editing software.
  • Comfortable bouncing back and forth between strategy and tactics — you like to think big picture but are also comfortable rolling up your sleeves and executing.
