We are currently seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join our talented team and support our Executive Chef in crafting outstanding dishes that showcase both our creativity and our commitment to quality. Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef on special event menu development, focusing on seasonal ingredients and wine pairings
  2. Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and timeliness of dishes
  3. Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment that emphasizes collaboration and growth
  4. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in the kitchen
  5. Assist in the management of inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and utilization of ingredients
  6. Uphold and reinforce all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines according to local and state regulations

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in a high-quality, chef-driven restaurant setting
  • Formal culinary education or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and seasonal ingredient usage
  • Passion for wine and food pairings, with a willingness to continuously learn and develop expertise
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to train and inspire kitchen staff
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

Compensation details: 50000-58000 Yearly Salary
