Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Photographer and Videographer to capture, edit, and produce high-quality visual content that brings QTL's products and brand to life. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling, with hands-on experience in both photography and videography. You will be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing visuals for various media, including product photography, video tutorials, facility tours, and team portraits. This role requires excellent organizational skills to manage QTL’s visual asset library, maintain an efficient studio space, and adhere to project timelines. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales and R&D to ensure all visual content aligns with QTL’s brand standards and meets deadlines. Staff Photographer & Videographer Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality and accurate photography and videography to support QTL’s promotional and educational content, including product shots, facility visuals, and employee portraits.

• Develop and document photography and videography standards, including lighting requirements, aperture settings, filters, focus, and camera angles to maintain consistency.

• Set up and maintain equipment for photo and video shoots, including lighting, cameras, and other technical gear, to ensure optimal image quality.

• Plan and execute a range of live and pre-recorded video projects such as product tutorials, facility tours, and interviews, collaborating with relevant departments to follow storyboards and scripts.

• Edit photos and videos in post-production to ensure high-quality visuals that align with QTL’s brand standards.

• Organize and manage QTL’s photo and video library, ensuring files are labeled, stored, and easily accessible.

• Brainstorm and develop creative visual content for QTL’s website, social media, emails, digital ads, and print materials to illustrate the benefits and features of the product in an engaging and clear manner.

• Work with internal teams (Sales, R&D, etc.) to acquire product samples and schedule shoots in line with QTL’s launch calendar.

• Learn the benefits and features of all products being shot to understand how to best capture them.

• Manage external creative services such as photo and video editing services.

• Maintain an organized, efficient studio space optimized for quick and high-quality image capture.

Requirements:

• Background in film, art, photography, or related field.

• Portfolio or reel of work showcasing photography and videography skills.

• Strong technical knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and editing software.

• Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to high-quality and consistent work.

• Creative visual skills and ability to translate ideas into impactful visuals.

• Strong organizational skills for managing project timelines and visual assets.

• Ability to adapt to QTL’s brand standards and continuously improve visual content quality.
