Location: Flexible hybrid in Peoria, IL

Duration: Initial one-year contract with high potential to extend/convert based on performance

Pay Rate: $64-69/hr W2, open to C2C, Self-Corporation candidates

• Looking for someone with ThoughtSpot experience
• BI tool experience a plus
• Database technology is snowflake that they use – all data is safe sourced for now in DB2 and they replicate it into snowflake – ThoughtSpot will connect to this
• Snowflake is a nice to have!* - creates views in it
• Any data modeling experience helpful too – complexity in data
• Problem solving/analytical skills
• Ability to help team upskill in ThoughtSpot
• Have a large and mature reporting solution – business information solution – built on top of IBM Cognos – reports have existed for the past 10-15 years ,etc.
• In the midst of trying to modernize this
• Use thought spot to replace this/modernize this reporting solution
• Own most of the data for what they use within reporting tool – all under one umbrella
• Doing this work already and looking to accelerate it

Position’s Contributions to Work Group :

• Modernization of critical reporting tools to enhance business operations.
• Improved reporting on machine sales, orders, inventory, and forecasting.
• Enhanced decision-making capabilities through better data visualization.
• Support the essential functions of running our machine business and parts reporting.

Typical task breakdown:

• Develop and optimize ThoughtSpot solutions to meet business needs.
• Build and maintain data views and ETL processes.
• Utilize Snowflake for data modeling and ensure efficient data management.
• Conduct workshops and create live boards in ThoughtSpot to facilitate better data visualization and decision-making.
• Train and mentor the existing team on ThoughtSpot functionalities and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for ThoughtSpot-related issues.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analysis activities.
• Assist in the modernization of reporting tools and processes.

Interaction with team:

• 5- 7 folks involved in project

Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree requirement w/ 10 year experience
• Associates/ No Degree with 14+ years experience in this capacity
• Masters degree with 7-8 years experience in this capacity

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience in ThoughtSpot development or as a ThoughtSpot SME.
• Strong knowledge of data ETL processes and experience building data views.
• 1-2 years of experience in Snowflake data modeling.
• Familiarity with Cognos is a plus.
• Experience in building worksheets and live boards in ThoughtSpot.
• Ability to train and mentor team members on ThoughtSpot.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Interview Process:

• 1 round interview; via teams; 1hour to 90 min at most (this will include a technical portion in the interview)
