Title- UX Researcher V

Location- San Jose, CA (Hybrid)

Interview- Video (2 Rounds)

Pay rate- $70-75/hr on W2.

Position type- Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive development & timely delivery of research for key roadmap priorities.
• Influence key features, products, or initiatives based on company priorities.
• Conduct primary user research using various methodologies (usability studies, in-depth interviews, ethnography, surveys, diary studies, etc.).
• Build strong relationships with Design, Product, and Business teams to drive impact.
• Use storytelling techniques & workshops to communicate insights and drive action.
• Contribute to the continuous growth of the UX Research practice.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education :
• Master’s or PhD in Anthropology, Sociology, Cognitive/Experimental Psychology, Human Factors Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7+ years of experience in applied UX research (8-10+ years without an advanced degree).
• Key Skills & Expertise :
• Proven impact on design and product decisions benefiting customers & business.
• Deep understanding of UX Research fundamentals and advanced techniques.
• Strong advocacy for UX Research best practices.
• Expert in UX Research tools.
• Experience with qualitative & quantitative research throughout product development in large-scale environments.
