• Develop and deploy AI models for improving civic engagement, such as NLP-driven chatbots, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets from public sources, government APIs, and user-generated content.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build AI-driven features that enhance accessibility and usability.
• Optimize machine learning models for real-time and scalable applications.
• Contribute to the full AI development cycle: data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and explore how they can be applied to civic technology.

• A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Passionate about civic engagement, public services, and AI’s role in solving social challenges.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to experiment with innovative AI solutions.

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
• 0-3 years of experience in AI/ML development, either through work experience, projects, or research.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and NLP techniques.
• Experience with data processing, computer vision, or LLMs is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps best practices.
• Experience in civic tech, GovTech, or social impact projects is a big plus.
