ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and driven Broker In Charge to lead our thriving real estate office in Cornelius, NC. This is a primary leadership role within our firm. Helen Adams Realty has offices in Cornelius, Central Charlotte, Ballantyne, and Fort Mill and has served the Great Charlotte area with the highest level of personal service for 50 years.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all real estate transactions and ensure compliance with NC (and preferably SC) real estate laws and regulations.
• Lead and support a team of agents and office staff , providing mentorship, training, and coaching to drive their success.
• Host office sales meetings and workshops to promote growth, best practices, and team collaboration.
• Ensure all office operations run smoothly, fostering a positive and productive environment .
• Work closely with firm leadership as part of the management team to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
• Maintain and enforce ethical standards, handling agent concerns and compliance matters proactively .
• Stay up to date with market trends, industry changes, and competitive strategies to support the firm’s continued success.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Active NC Real Estate Broker License (SC License preferred or willingness to obtain).
• 3+ years of experience in residential real estate sales.
• Strong leadership and management skills , with a passion for coaching and developing agents.
• Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations , ensuring compliance and ethical practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills , with a high emotional intelligence (EQ).
• A relationship-focused leader who values team culture, integrity, and professional growth .
