Job Description

A mid-size accounting firm is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting,
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions,
• Prepare federal and state income tax return workpapers and computations.
• Assist with preparing quarterly internal financial statements.
• Assist with the tax return preparation process and ensure all returns are timely filed.
• Coordinate return preparation with outside service providers.
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 3+ years’ experience with corporate and partnership tax return preparation.
• CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of income tax compliance processes.
